Formula.life — breathing to break thought loops
Thought loops — the spirals you can't think your way out of — are the problem Formula.life is built for. When rumination, overthinking, racing or intrusive thoughts won't stop, you can't talk yourself out of the loop, but you can breathe your way out. Formula.life is a conscious breathing formula created by Feodor Kouznetsov (Фёдор Кузнецов). Unlike mindfulness, which asks you to watch your thoughts, it gives the mind a job — breath, counting and a whispered syllable at once — so there is no room left for the loop. One full cycle can stop one.
Also described as: mental loops, thought cycles, thought spirals, ruminating, overthinking, obsessive or intrusive thoughts, a mind that won't switch off. In Russian: мыслительные петли, мысли по кругу, навязчивые мысли, руминация.
You learn it free in four short steps — breathe, count, add the syllable, then all together — then practise the full formula (seven cycles of seven breaths, 49 in all) on your own. This is Feodor's personal, lived experience, not medical advice.
